FAQ – James Beetham

Premaster provided in 24 bit wav/aiff files with a sample rate of 44.1khz or higher.
Premaster at least -2 db headroom. No mastering plugins (limiters, compressors etc) on the master channel.
Please name the tracks accordingly (Artist, track name, mix). This is really helpful and will save time.
Files must be zipped and can be sent with uploading sites such as wetransfer.com / transferXL.com / sendspace.com or similar to jamesbeetham@icloud.com.
Once the mastering is done (Turn around time is usually 3 – 10 days) , you’ll be able to download the mastered file/s from a download link provided. If you for some reason aren’t happy with the master/s, revisions will be worked with you until your goal is achieved.
Vinyl masters upon request.
Include a reference track of what sound you are trying to achieve. Please mention If you’re looking for a specific sound when it comes to your mix down.
Mastering available for DJ Mixes 60-180mins. Make your promo mix shine by having everything sounding as good as the original content and with a consistent level across your whole mix.

Up to 8 Stems. Kick, Bassline, snare or clap as separate files, rest grouped in stems for example Percussions & hihats, Synth sounds, Sound FX, Vocals etc.

24 bit wav/aiff files with a samplerate of 44.1khz or higher. (30 track maximum, please enquire for anything larger)
Any creative processing can be kept on the channels. (compression, reverbs, EQs, modulations etc)
Any possible send/bus effects used should be bounced/mixed down as separate channels.
Please mention If you’re looking for a specific sound when it comes to the mix down. Include a reference track if needed.
Turn around time for mixing service including mastering is 7-21 days.

You will receive a full report on your mixdown, allowing you to make changes so mastering can be completed with the best outcome.
